The Canyon of the Gorges du Banquet are carved by the Arn, a tributary of the Thoré, in the middle of the granite massif of the Anglès plateau, 8 km east of Mazamet.

These gorges are one of the main natural curiosities of this sector of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park
This is the first level of practice of canyoning ideal for the family with children (from 8 years old), or for a progressive discovery. Some abseilings are present on this course as well as a beautiful portion of whitewater swimming.

The beauty of the landscape and the pleasure of the water make this descent unforgettable. And during the hot summer days it is only happiness!

The canyoning course
Equipped with a neoprene suit and a helmet, you will very gradually discover the main techniques for progressing in the canyon. It will be for 3h30 to go down the Arn by swimming, jumping, diving and walking. Jumps are never compulsory (maximum 7 meters), and where it is not necessary to use abseiling techniques. The roar of the water, the steep slopes, the rocky outcrops offer a grandiose spectacle.
