Hydrospeed and whitewater swimming on the River Aude in the Pyrenees Audoises…
Hydrospeed or whitewater swimming allows to go down the river and play with the flows, obstacles and rapids : equipped with a reinforced wetsuit, flippers and a float, the swimmer follows the path showed by our guides.
In the Haute Vallée de l’Aude, come to discover several half-days lively trips which are 7 kilometers long (category III IV) !!
Perfect whitewater teacher, hydrospeed is a playful activity that can be safely accessed by beginners !!
Throughout the year we train the future qualified guides and we are associated members with the French School of Canoe-Kayak.

Hydrospeed on the River Aude (7km – 1’30 hour)
Les Gorges de St Georges (category III) :
This 7 kilometers long circuit allows everyone to discover the activity in a wonderful landscape. At the same time lively and progressive, it allows beginners and families to have fun being safe.
Level : Introduction, color blue (category III)
Duration : 1’30 hour
Age : From the age of 10

From 1 to 3 people : 43 €*pp

Hydrospeed on the River Aude (7 km – 2hours)
Les gorges de Pierre Lys (category IV) :
The first part of this trip will familiarize you to the technique and then you will arrive in the splendid and wild Gorges de Pierre Lys. This place on the River Aude, made of limestone represents the most sporty and challenging one. It will allow everyone to have thrills and some of its sections have evocative names as “the triple fall”, “the flipper” or again “the dessert”.
Level : introduction color red (category IV)
Duration : two hours
Age: From the age of 12 years old for individual customers and from the age of et 14 ans pour les years old for recreation centres and holiday centres.

HYDROSPEED TRIPS
The trips available are essentially on the River Aude and will allow you to try whitewater sports.
Discovery trip (blue) : Les gorges St Georges (Category III) 7km.
Sporty trip (red) : Les Gorges de Pierre Lys (category IV) 7 km.
DURATION OF THE DOWNRIVER TRIPS :
Discovery trips : 1’30 hour
Sporty trip : 2 hours
PRACTICAL LEVEL :
Introduction- Improvement
WE PROVIDE YOU :
A float, flippers, a lifevest, a helmet, and a wetsuit.
DO NOT FORGET :
A swimsuit and a towel.
OUR PRICES INCLUDE :
A qualified guide supervising the activity, the equipment, shuttles, services in our centre : sanitary facilities, parking, picnic area, etc…
NOTES :
According to the water flow and to the weather, the organizer can decide to postpone the activity or to cancel it for safety purposes. In the event of degradation of the equipments, vehicles, our company will demand a compensation to the concerned people, as well as for loss or theft.
AGE :
From the age of 12 for the discovery trip and 14 for the sporty one. Minors have to be in the company of an adult.
PRACTICE CONDITIONS :
You have to be able to swim 25 meters and be able to immerse yourself. No contraindication to the practice of sports.
SCHEDULE AND RESERVATION :
Everyday, mornings and afternoons. Do not forget to make a reservation for a better organization.

Reception centre inAxat – after gorges de Pierre Lys. AXAT is 1h15 away from Carcassonne, 1h30 away from Narbonne, 1h50 away from Béziers, 1h away from Perpignan and 2h away from Toulouse.
